Science

At WHSS, our science curriculum is designed to build both knowledge and practical skills through engaging projects. These projects often link with other subjects, such as using plant biology alongside art and design.

The curriculum is sequenced to support deep learning, with projects timed for hands-on experiences in our nature garden and farm. Students may work towards qualifications like the Entry Level Certificate (ELC) or GCSE Chemistry, with a focus on understanding core concepts, applying scientific methods, and developing skills for further education and real-world applications.
