At William Henry Smith School & Sixth Form, our Horticulture & Agriculture program fosters a deep connection with the natural world, promoting curiosity and respect for the environment.
Through hands-on learning on the school farm and nature garden, students engage in practical activities that enhance their understanding of scientific concepts in real-life contexts. Cross-curricular links are made to enrich learning experiences, and students can work collaboratively while building on prior knowledge. They have the opportunity to achieve AQA Unit Awards and work towards OCR qualifications, preparing them for future opportunities.
